Musical Moments – Waterlooville

This is a free event hosted by Wellington Vale Care Home in partnership with Dementia Support Hampshire & IOW.

A drop in afternoon for family, friends, carers and those living with dementia. Enjoy a safe, relaxed afternoon singing to enhance wellbeing and an opportunity to ask questions and share concerns with others. A selection of snacks and refreshments will be available in the beautiful environment of Wellington Vale Care Home in Denmead.

A 45minute musical session, followed by refreshments. 2pm-3.30pm.

The event is open to anyone and everyone living with dementia, but particularly beneficial for people living with mid/later stage dementia, as singing can relieve symptoms and enhance mood.

Free parking is available.

Drop in on a Tuesday between 10am-1pm at Becton Lane allotment site (located off Becton Mead in Barton on Sea).

A warm welcome is offered to all visitors, enjoy the relaxed outdoor environment, gazebo seating available, lots of colourful flowers, plants, vegetables, and
herbs to be seen.

Please bring your own refreshments.

Please note that this site is not a “care facility” and sorry no public toilet are available.
