Join our community walk along the River Hamble

Join us for a wonderful day of walking, fundraising, and making a difference for people affected by dementia across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Starting from Warsash Sailing Club, our community walk takes you through some of the most beautiful scenery the River Hamble and local coastline have to offer. Whether you come with family, friends, colleagues, or join other supporters on the day, every step you take will help support local families living with dementia.

Choose Your Walk

With seven different routes to choose from, there’s a walk for everyone, whatever your age, ability, or fitness level.

You could enjoy:

  • A gentle harbour walk of around 0.5km
  • A scenic riverside walk along the River Hamble
  • Medium-distance routes taking in local paths and waterside views
  • Our 12km challenge walk, combining stunning river and coastal paths for those looking to go the extra mile

Whether you choose a short stroll or take on the full challenge, every step you take and every pound you raise will help make a difference.

Event Details

📍 Location: Warsash Sailing Club, Warsash, Fareham
🕙 Registration: 10.00am to 11.00am
🚶 Walk Starts: After registration

Arrive between 10.00am and 11.00am to register before setting off on your chosen route. Enjoy beautiful river and coastal views while helping ensure nobody faces dementia alone.

Walk & Fundraise RSVP

Registration is completely free, and everyone who takes part will receive a finisher’s medal as a thank you for their support.

Event t-shirts will also be available on the day for a suggested donation of £10.
