As part of Romsey Dementia Action Group’s ‘Family Dementia Information Day’, Greenbuttercup CIC are holding a mini Art Exhibition to showcase the work done at their ‘Arts & Crafts’ group over the past year. Every welcome.

Reminiscence Activity Group – Shops & Brands we have ‘loved and lost’

For Dementia Action Week we will be running a FREE session to encourage those who would like to find out who we are and what we do.
We will be discussing shops that have disappeared from the High Street and branded goods which we would love to be able to still buy. There will be pictures, mock-ups of products and games to help keep us reminiscing. Tea/Coffee and biscuits will be available.

Drop In To Find Out More About Dementia

Informal drop in session to find out more about dementia, living with dementia and local support. Kay, an Admiral Nurse specialist in dementia, will be present to help answer any questions. Please pop in and join us for a chat and a cuppa.

Dementia Friends Information Session

A 1-hour Dementia Friends session delivered by an Alzheimer’s Society Ambassador teaches about dementia, its impact, and how to support those affected.

There will also be other local services on hand to tell you about their Dementia friendly initiatives and what support they can offer.

Refreshments and plenty of free parking

Attendees on the day include Alzheimer’s Society Ambassador; Local Adult Social Prescribers; Hampshire Carer Support and Dementia Advice Service; The Blue Lamp Trust; Charlotte Pragnell Reflexologist and Cllr Adeel Shah.

National Dementia Week Tea Dance

You are invited to join Bluebird Care for a Dementia Action Week Tea Dance!

There will be live music, a Raffle in aid of Dementia Support Hampshire & IOW and lots of fun.

With the help of Bluebird Care staff and volunteers we hope to make it a memorable afternoon.

The event is free to attend, but please book your seat as space is limited.

Golf for Good – Charity Golf Day

May 20th – 26th is Dementia Action Week, a national annual campaign that encourages people to take action to support people living with dementia.

Why not use your love for golf for social good and join us to raise funds for people living with dementia in the local area.

Coffee and Bacon rolls from 7.30 am

Shotgun start – 9.30 am – 18 holes

Followed by a two course meal and a charity raffle.

£320 per team of 4 (£80 per person). 18 teams available.
