Information submitted is reviewed by Dementia Support Hampshire & IOW for accuracy and relevance.

Events should be submitted at least 7 days in advance - submitting your listing as far in advance as possible gives your event greater exposure over a longer period of time on our website and through search engines. We also need to check your event prior to publishing it and this may take some time.

Dementia Support Hampshire & IOW does not guarantee that listings will be published - the events on our website are for people living with dementia, any events that are not relevant to dementia will not be published. Any listings that do not contain sufficient information (i.e date, time, cost, location) will not be published.

Only events specifically for people living with dementia, in one of the above categories, will be approved.

The calendar is for events only (i.e. a specific date and time)- not to advertise services. However, you can add a short description of the service your offer to be seen on your organisation page.

By attaching your logo, you give us permission to add it to your organisation page, and for us to use it in our newsletters to promote your event.

If you have a recurring event you can upload them all at once by using the ‘Schedule Multiple Events’ button on the event submission form.
Dementia Support Hampshire & IOW reserve the right to remove or change your featured if it does not comply with size and design requirements (see event submission form).

Once your registration has been approved, your organisation will be set up on our system. You will then be issued with a login ID. When you add an event you will be asked to find your organisation - so that the organisation name, contact, email, telephone number, and website (or Facebook) can be automatically added to the event. You will need to confirm the venue of the event as part of the event listing.

PLEASE NOTE: If your event is postponed or cancelled, update your listing immediately on the Dementia Support Hampshire & IOW website so it can be changed or removed as soon as possible.

To make other changes to your event (change of times, etc.), login, then click on the ‘Update this event’ link on your event and submit new details.

Any added general information less than 7 days in advance of an event may not be processed in time.

If we receive complaints from our service users that they cannot get in touch with you, or tried to attend events that were not happening, we reserve the right to cancel your event partnership.

PLEASE REMEMBER: This service is to make the lives of people living with dementia a little bit easier, so please ensure that your listings are up to date and correct.
