New Milton Allotment – Dementia Friendly Summer Drop-In

Drop in anytime between 11am and 1pm every Tuesday throughout the summer.

New Milton Town Council are hosting a relaxed, dementia-friendly outdoor drop-in. Enjoy a welcoming space with gazebo seating, surrounded by colourful flowers, plants, and vegetables at the allotment.

Walk for Dementia – Emsworth Walk

Join our Walk & Talk at Emsworth Quay for a walk along The Promenade. If you are feeling energetic you can continue your walk along Western Parade to Solent Way and back again.

Arrive 1pm to register, and set off on your walk with your friends and family or walk with others taking part.

Just Walk RSVP – FREE sign up (no t-shirt or medal included)

Standard Ticket – £5.00 includes a medal

Premium Ticket – £12.00 includes a t-shirt and a medal

An Afternoon by the Sea

Join us for an afternoon by the sea at The Wheelhouse in Stubbington.

If the weather is good, we will sit outdoors for lunch and conversation followed by a walk along the sea front for those that wish to do so.

Bring a packed lunch or order some fish & chips to be delivered, and maybe treat yourself to an ice cream!

We will also have some activities available in doors for those of you that prefer to stay out of the sun, or if the weather is not too good.

We will meet at The Wheelhouse at midday and stay until 4pm.

Enjoy a Christmas-themed afternoon tea with delicious seasonal treats, heartwarming company, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

The event, hosted by Dementia Support Hampshire & IOW, will feature live music by Delvis to lift spirits and spark memories — perfect for singing along, tapping your toes, having a dance, or simply soaking in the festive vibes. We’ll also be holding a Christmas raffle to raise funds for our activities in the year ahead — with some lovely prizes to be won!

This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with others, share stories, and celebrate the season in a dementia-friendly environment.
