Memory Café – Petersfield
October 18 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

The Winton House Memory Café runs once a month, on the third Wednesday of the month, we meet from 2pm until 3.30 pm held in the Pop-In Tea Room and when weather permits in the garden.
We welcome people living with dementia and their carers or family members. Hot drinks and cake are served in a café setting. Usually a quiz and a theme for the afternoon. Popular themes have been games, school days, October fest and birds. We also hold craft sessions and have made angels for the Nativity Festival at the Methodist Church Hall. We usually have a musician that leads us in singing for the last half hour.
Winton House is where you can find the Pop-In, a dementia friendly café run by our volunteers, normally open from 10am to 2.30pm for light refreshments. Our volunteers make everyone welcome, and customers can make use of our walled garden as well as our bright café. There is disabled access.
Please contact us, if you would like to know more, or visit our office between 9.30 and 3.30pm and our office volunteers can give you more information about social activities in the area.
